London Senior Hockey (LSH)
Welcome to London Senior Hockey in London, Ontario, where players over 55 get together three days a week to play hockey at Western Fair District Sports Complex.
What started out as a small group of “pick-up” hockey players 30 years ago is now a League of over 360 players and 40 plus goalies. Volunteer referees complete our league.
There are three levels of competition with eight teams in each, but all three levels require hockey experience. Rough or dangerous play is not tolerated. We do not have a beginner or learn-to-play level. Three games per week from October to mid April at the Western Fair District Sports Complex.
In 2016, members voted overwhelmingly in favour of incorporating the league as a non-profit organization (NPO).
All LSH players, goalies and referees are registered members of the Canadian Adult Recreational Hockey Association. (CARHA). This Association provides extended health insurance for on ice injuries as well as other resources.
If you are 55, playing “Oldtimer level” hockey and looking to continue your “career” in the game you love, visit

Just For Fun Hockey League
Our custom designed computer program that scrambles the roster for EVERY game and then creates a personalized schedule for each player based on their availability.
Players are not stuck on a losing team and we never have a dominant 'team' because the rosters change on a game by game basis. This creates a very friendly atmosphere where everyone develops an appreciation for the other players, while the competitive edge is maintained.
In short, we play 'organized shinny' where everyone is out to have fun and winning is only for bragging rights from week to week. This is the best kind of hockey for those who realize that the scouts are not watching and the dream of making a career from hockey is either beyond reach or long past.
Play for the love of the game, this is why the league was created!
